identiFINDER series R - gamma spectrometers

 FLIR's Identifinder R-Series handheld gamma spectrometers are the world standard in mobile/handheld gamma spectrometers today. They are used not only by police, airport security, special forces, customs and government agencies in many countries, but also  by the International Atomic Energy Agency (among others). Many users are also from the security services and security of major facilities and businesses.

Unlike conventional personal radiation detectors, it also brings the ability to measure the gamma spectrum. These detectors can thus quickly identify a radionuclide by measuring its gamma spectrum and comparing the spectrum with the instrument's internal database. This makes it possible to detect illicit movement of radionuclides, contaminated materials or people and make immediate decisions.

FLIR spectrometers are characterised by their ease of use and maximum automation of all processes, so they do not require specially trained operators.
